chapter 3: why we use blogs to connect

I loved this chapter! it gives you such great ideas to work with your students. I teach pre -kinder kids and I always struggle to find ways to involve technology in my classes. I found myself showing them videos or recording their work inside the classroom. I think a blog or an interactive web page is a great idea for them to start practicing these skills and to support other skills like reading and writing. When you have a blog you can share easily what your students are doing and you can involve other staff and parents in their work.

1. Connecting with Skype?.
Another way of using technology for learning is Skype, in my opinion through calls, conversations, chats, messages and videos primary and in general students learn about different topics, meet people and make themselves known by others in a fun way.

Being connected allows people and primary learners to understand, live and discover the knowledge and world without barriers. Also, being connected is a handy tool for learning which teaches us about our differences but also similarities as a global community.
